CBN – Cannabinol is created from THC that is exposed to heat or oxygen.   Only a tiny amount of this compound is present in any given bud, CBN rarely exceeds 1% in dried flower.  This compound is mostly found in buds that aren’t properly cured or predominantly used for hash making.  The benefits discovered with this compound include effective pain relief, anti-insomnia, anti-biotic, anti-inflammatory, anticonvulsant, appetite stimulation, and also promotes growth of bone cells.  The most influential attribute of this compound is its effects on sedation.  5mg of CBN has the equivalent of 10mg of Diazepam, a medicinal sedative.  This compound is mostly found in indicia strains and has little psychoactive effects, leaving its consumers with a clear head.
